4.     Do I upload the student list?

There is no need to upload any student data to the platform, it is cloud based and all that is required for the student to complete the survey is the GoodSpace URL and the screening survey code. The student will enter their own details.

5.     How do students access the survey?

By entering the GoodSpace URL https://app.goodspaceschools.com/#/sw/welcome and entering the survey code that you publish (see our members section ‘Publishing surveys’ for further help)

6.     How do I publish a survey?

See our members section ‘Publishing surveys’ for further help

7.     Can I screen the whole school at once?

GoodSpace Schools is a digital screening platform, which enables you to screen a whole school in ten minutes should you wish to do so. However it is prudent to ensure you screen the school in cohorts that is manageable for your wellbeing team to respond to, see our Implementation Guide and tutorial on the members section of our website for further information

8.     Do I need to do anything after I have run a survey?

Once you have run the survey and your students have completed it, you will need to review the responses and triage them to decide what follow up action is required. See our Triaging Responses section on the members section of our website

9.     We want to run the survey in homerooms which are multi-year groups, is this ok?

It is recommended that you create a screening survey code for each year group, however if you prefer to run them in a multi-year format, you will be able to cross reference results through the Analytics Dashboard. The Analytics Dashboard will enable you to view the total screening code’s results, and also break it down by year group.

10.     Can we run surveys in the school holidays?

It is recommended that screening surveys are run during term time so that the wellbeing team can respond. For that reason we recommend only have screening surveys live within a term. It is also a precaution in a case a student completes the screening survey with urgent or critical risks and you are not able to respond or are not aware for two weeks.

11.      Do we need to get parental consent before running a screening survey?

It depends on your school policy, and possibly on the survey you select. Many secondary schools include wellbeing activities within their enrolment forms which can include HEeADSSS assessments. Many schools often used Check-in type tools during COVID. Within our Implementation Toolkit we provide you with consent letters, (many schools select an opt-out process) as well as notices for school  newsletters.
